Summary:

It's still early days for this event but the lack of a substantial crowd combined with a relatively early close at 2:15 AM didn't bode well with me.

I’ve been living in a country town. I’ve made a special weekend trip to Sydney to visit friends, family, and a new club event. Let’s check it out!

Assessment Time
:
My friends arrived at 10:30PM, while I was a late attendee at 1:20AM. The security tried to pull the “I’m sorry its lock out”. I had to kindly remind them lockout starts at 1:30, and not 1:20AM. What’s ten minutes? I was reluctantly let in. Even the guys at the cashier were closing and I had to get them to open up the register to let me in, lol. I’ve had to ask my friends (who were there from 10:30) to form their views on how the night was earlier on as part of the review.

Outside Line:
Pretty short. No more than ten people for my friends.
There was no line when I got in.

Inside:
Walk in from the side of the club and enter the venue. The bar is in front of you, the DJ and dance floor on the right. There are two podiums to the left. In its entirety the inside of the venue can hold up to 150 dancers. Outside was more of a chill out / smoking zone to hold maybe 50 people.

2:00AM Outside

Bar Prices / Line:

Before midnight there are $5 drink specials. After that:

$9.50 for a tequila sunrise
$9 for  vodka raspberry

Always got service. No lining up. Also no shots after midnight. tut tut.

Bathroom Facilities:

Pretty clean tonight, due to a lack of a crowd.

Music Style:

RnB, Hip Hop followed by house and Trance / EDM at the end of the night.

Crowd:

Mostly young people. Very young people. There was an 18th birthday going on here tonight. Crowd was local Asian Australian, no other locals or general nationalities noted tonight.

Friends say there weren’t that many more people earlier in the night. I counted 45 people, which was relatively poor for a 1:30AM.

Atmosphere:

It was relatively dead throughout the night, but at least I had the ENTIRE dance floor in front of the DJ to myself.
My friends thought it was “shit”. All 3 I dragged along tonight. They were here for at least 3 hours.

Upon Departure

While I’m here, may as well make the most of it and dance to get some legs and cardio done on the floor. Suddenly at 2:15AM the music stops, and the lights turn on! What!!! The club is officially closed. Nobody is buying drinks anymore and the club is bleeding money is what they are saying. GTFO. What a massive let down. Everybody is upset.

Final Thoughts & Recommendation

If you’re into a private party for yourself and friends without creepy people, or in fact anybody else talking to you, then this is the place to be. You’re guaranteed instant bar service as well, and you get to go home early as well so your sleeping habits aren’t ruined.

The promoters need to figure out a way to push out the marketing machine, fast.
