Timeline
A JamesTran.net clubbing blog follower recognises me!
I declared in a previous post that I wasn’t going to wear my pirate outfit anymore when going out. Well tonight I was wearing it. A friend borrowed my outfit and had returned it to me, just before I stepped into the club.  So I thought, why not, let’s wear it again!

anyway someone stops me and says “You’re JAMES TRAN aren’t you!!”. Why, yes, I am. I don’t know who he is but he introduces himself as someone from Melbourne who emailed me for advice on Sydney clubs on Australia Day. Oh now I remember!

“James I thought you weren’t wearing the pirate outfit anymore!” he adds. I am totally busted – MY OWN READERS throwing back statements I made right back into my face! -____- arrrrrr…. I mentioned I would explain it all in the upcoming review. He is also planning to visit Pumphouse tomorrow night. I pretty much yelled at him not to go,  but he goes anyway! lol is my advice not even worth listening to? I know you’re reading this right now dude, and I really hope you learned your lesson!! That lesson being Pumphouse isn’t the best venue at all for a Saturday night RnB fix.

Danced with random girl thanks to  the pirate outfit
So what is done is done. I am wearing the pirate outfit and I’m going to make the most of it! It’s way too dark upstairs and I plod downstairs, where a woman is dancing downstairs. She is obviously lost as she isn’t Asian. Jumped on in and we dance. She holds up well but I couldn’t push it any further.. boo.

Didn’t even really hang out with the Birthday Boy
As I mentioned earlier, tonight I was here for a Birthday. Well, I saw him and said hello. Then he had to go somewhere else. It was really the only time I spoke with him the whole night, haha. Some friend I am. I suppose we are more acquaintances at this point in time..  but you know, 10 years is a long time to be acquainted with someone.

an amazingly packed line
I went downstairs to take a breather as its impossible to survive up there in the sardine room. However on trying to get back up there is a really long line. So long that security tell us to piss off and come back later. How depressing! You think the line outside on George St is long enough, and you have to face the second line inside the Bar!! What a rort!!

A free drink coupled with a sad tale
I met a guy in line and he liked my pirate outfit so much he bought me a drink, haha. I really didn’t want the drink but he insisted. He was 27, and only manages to come out clubbing once every 2 months because of work. OMG once every 60 days you get to go out?? DON’T EVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU MY DEAR READER!! Otherwise you will end up like this helpless man, and buy drinks for me.

Arrivederci
We left at closing time

Recommendation
It’s still small.. it still gets a bit stuffy upstairs, the girls are still pretty good looking enough to bring us boys back.
This is Flow @ World Square Pub and it gets a 6.5/10
