Entry Fee / Cover Charge: $20, Free on guestlist
Guestlist: I am not sure – there are promoters on facebook. Check the website as well.
Inside: The former bottom level YU has been closed and merged into  and it’s all now Soho, combining the both
Cloak Room: None
Bar: 2 bars on the bottom level, and 2 bar serving the top level
DJ: 1 DJ upstairs and 1 downstairs.
Music: Funky House, House.
Crowd: Mostly aussies from what I could ascertain. Mixed ages of young and old. It was the christmas work party season and as such there would be some people here
Entertainment: No extra entertainment.
Atmosphere: Usually clubs at 2am start to die down, but Soho was still very busy downstairs.. it was also pretty hot and humid considering the amount of people and how long it has been since it opened. Overall it was a pretty good atmosphere for a club at 2am. On top of that, we had just left Favela, which was really crap, and so this just blew everything out of the way.

Timeline

Almost not getting in via guestlist.
We had our names on a guestlist which M organised. Unfortunately M’s name wasn’t on it. The door guy was nice to let us in for free anyway, because my name was on the list, and my friends would be my +1’s, lol.

We have a female fan
Us 3 are dancing and a random woman comes up and dances with us. She likes our moves and just wants to have fun. It was funny because we bumped into her later and we all walked to the station together.. a 30 minute walk.

Me and M are dancing. A man comes up and talk to us… about eyebrows. He tells us about how nice our eyebrows are, which was weird. Then to follow up, he tells us about how much more bushier, and therefore how much more awesome, his eyebrows were. We nod and smile but he persists on us to admit to him that he has some really good looking eyebrows. I mean, they’re just eyebrows for pete’s sake, haha.

C gets challenged to a dance off
C is dancing and then one of the daring men does a dance off with her. He does this freaking awesome move where he slid under her legs, and I was pretty amazed. C tried to do the same, but the floor wasn’t slippery enough, and she ended up just landing on her bum, haha.

We get challenged to a 3 on 3 dance off

So after the first two dance, the other two want us to join in for the dance off. I really really hate dance offs, because I only dance best naturally – I don’t usually bring it impromptu. In any case, we accepted the challenge and we all did our little dances in the circle, and I would say it was a tie. Our female fan later told us we were definitely the winners in that one.

We go downstairs for some dance and we split.

Recommendation
If you’re looking for a housey place to dance which is fairly spacious, and goes all night, this is a good place to go.
